Hi. I'm Shadestar. Just call me Shade. ^^ Of course, I am a huge fan of the Warrior books, and I do like Survivors and Seekers by Erin Hunter. And Wolves of the Beyond By Kathryn Lasky.
Here's a little about me:
I've created two "real" Clans, FireClan and StormClan, and many others on warriorcatsrpg.com [ANGEL METEORA LIGHT] and untoldtales.proboards.com [ShadestarFireClan]. I'm also on EggCave [Redstar-FireClan].
I have what I call a "Zoo"; I have two birds, two dogs, two cats, a hamster, a hermit crab, and a turtle.
Here's some stuff about my pets:
My two birds are an Umbrella Cockatoo named Angel and a Green-Cheeked Pineapple Conure named Oz.
Angel and Oz both talk, though Oz is our talker. Angel only says "Hello" and "Ooh!" [‹--- We do that when she fluffs her crest feathers], while Oz says "Fifi!" [in three different ways], "Pretty, pretty, pretty"; "Pretty, pretty, pretty boy"; "Pretty boy", "Yew-Who!", "Angel" [more like An-jewl], "What cha doin'?" [he says this whenever Angel climbs down her cage. xD], he's also copied the way Angel says 'hello', screams loudly [like Angel], and makes clicking noises. Oz will also 'take a bath' when you give him new water, or will just put his head under the water from the sink. Angel is 1 1/2 years; Oz is 2.
As for my dogs, I have a Chug and an English Bulldog. A Chug is a Chihuahua-Pug mix which looks more like a Chihuahua. Her name is Princess Fiona, or, you guessed it, Fifi.
Gunner is our reversed brindle English Bulldog. He's a big baby. xD Gunner is about 4 years old; Fifi is 2.
My cats are an Ocicat and a seal-point Siamese. The Ocicat is named Fire, and he's 3 or 4 years old. Our Siamese, Mase, is 18.
Mase only has one 'canine' tooth. This is because his other three were decaying, and caused him pain when he ate. The vet removed them. Sadly, he had a mini-stroke a couple months back. Fortunately, he survived, but what acting slow. He throws up a lot, too. But he still acts like a kitten!
We sometimes call Fire "Retard" [and he responds to that nickname!] because of the way he acts. He's ran into pretty much anything, and I don't think he knows he's declawed.
My turtle is named Challenger. Think it's a male? Nope, she's female. And boy, I've got a story to tell you.
Challenger is a Red-eared Slider. One day, during my bro's b-day party, my uncle decides to pick her up and bring her to my grandfather. My uncle is bringimg the turtle to and away from my grandfather's ear. Eventually, Challenger grabs onto my grandfather's ear. He shakes his head around, yelling, "Get it off! Get it off!" and she's still hanging on. My mom gets her off by putting cheese in front of her mouth. Left a mark on my grandfather's ear.
My Panda Hamster is named Domino. My mom got her from a friend, who told her that her [my mom's friend] son had been torturing the hamster. Domino had been afraid to come out of the tubes. Once we got her out, we took the tubes away and blocked the area where they had been. I petted and held Domino a lot. She's made progress, so we put the tubes back. She's still doing fine. I've only got bitten once.
My hermit crab is named Skull. Not much to say about him, except the poor guy's girlfriend died [her name was Rachael, whom was named after my friend].
I got Rachael at the beach and had her almost a year before she died. The poor girl got her claw stuck on the sponge and was faced down underwater in their little pool-like thing. She slipped out of her shell around midnight, so we put her in the Batman shell she was supposed to change into. Seven-thirty the next morning, I called my dad when he was at work. He said she was back in her old shell, but looked really pale. When I checked on her, she was still alive. I sat next to her cage, and she was dead by noon. I was there the whole time [except for the night] when she died. I picked her up, she fell out of her shell, and when I picked her body up, her antennae didn't twitch.
