KITS
By color, fur size, frame size, shape, build, or anything like that is a good way to choose a name for a kit! Let's say you have a small frail kit. She is very light weight and easy to move, Littlekit, Tinykit, Smallkit, Shortkit, Lightkit. All of those names would fit perfectly. She's also all white. Whitekit, Snowkit, Cloudkit, Blizzardkit, any of those would work as well. Her fur is also smooth and short. Smoothkit seems to fit there. Any of those names would work!
WARRIORS/APPRENTICES/HURT APPRENTICES/HURT WARRIORS
What's this? The kit is ready to be an apprentice? Well then, how about, since she is now known as Tinykit she'll now be known as Tinypaw.
Tinypaw has been hurt in a battle, should she keep her name? Will she become a warrior? She'll never become a warrior, and she's completely missing two legs and half her tail! She could be know as Twopaws, Halflegs, Twolegs, Missinglegs, Lostlegs or even Halftail, Missingtail, Losttail. Any of those could work. Now wait, what if she was hurt after she became a warrior? Let's see what would happen here....
Tinypaw is now known as Tinyframe, but there were other choices of names too, like: Tinypelt, Tinybuild, Tinyfur those could have been chosen too. But she got the name Tinyframe. But she's been hurt in a battle as well. Now she's lost and eye and an ear and she's gone blind in her other eye. She can no longer be a warrior. What are some elder names she could have? One-ear? Blindeye? Losteye, Lostear? Anything like that may work.
Now we've gone through some of the most helpful ways to name a cat. By the way their body is built, their size, color, breed, fur type, and anything like that! Maybe even their scent or how their fur feels..
Hope this helped!
