She followed in with a smile on her maw, "So what can I help you with?" She purred excitedly with curiosity. "I've only helped a medicine cat once, I sorted out some herbs," She purred proudly. Her tail lashed as she looked around the organized den.

Quickwish smiled,''Then you'll have some experience because that's what I need help with.'' he purred to her. His gentle eyes looking at her.

Patternpaw purred, "So, what is that needs sorting out?" She asked, her tail lashing. (My posts just get shorter and shorter.... xD)

''This half of the herbs.'' he mewed before pointed to the left half of the storage. He took a tiny pile out,''Here, you can start with the yarrow.''he said and took another pile out and started sorting that one. (just fill it in with random details x3)

"Hey, isn't yarrow that stuff that makes throw up poison?" She spat, her nose wrinkled up. Her tail lashed curiously though, as she began sorting out the pile, "Right?" She added to her question, assuming she was wrong. She was just going off her memory.

Quickwish grinned,''Yes it is actually. Good job.'' he sorted through some more herbs and then continued,''How'd you know that?'' he looked at her as he pawed out some more dried herbs.

"Oh, my mother used to tell me a few herbs just in case I needed to use them." She mewed, moving her paw from left to right sorting through leaves and berries.

Quickwish nodded and silently started on his part of the work. He sorted through a bundle of old dandelion leaves pulling the dry ones out, and putting the good leaves back. He blew a leaf at Patternpaw and chuckled as it hit the apprentice in her face.

She twitched her nose as the leaf tapped her face. She let out a small sneeze and giggled then wiped off the leaf. Her tail lashed as she finished up sorting the pile, "Done!" She purred

He chuckled,''Good work.'' he mewed in a light tone as he finished up with the last herb to be sorted. ''Well we're done here. Is there anything else you'd like to do?'' he mewed wording his words oddly.

"Well..." She mewed nervously, "I've always been wanting to ask this- But uh- Can I be the Medicine Cat Apprentice?" She mewed, a small shy smile on her maw as she asked the question. It's not a question you'd hear often.

Quickwish smiled,''I'd love to have you as my apprentice. We can ask our leader now.'' he gestured for her to go out of the medicine cat den and smiled at her.

She nodded and walked out of the den, padding towards the leader's den to see if the leader was there, but she waited for Quickwish to speak.

Quickwish nodded at her in approval and stuck his head in the den. ''Falconstar.'' he murmered looking for the great leader. His paws tapped impatiently on the floor.
